I'd like to personally welcome you to my website. I am a self-taught sports artist with a passion for painting professional athletes, particularly those playing for my hometown black and gold Pittsburgh teams. I specifically enjoy painting on items of sports memorabilia. Feel free to peruse this site to see exactly what I am talking about. I am constantly striving to develop my God-given talents in order to make a better life for my family. Along the way, I have made a promise to myself to help charitable organizations via my artistic creations. This is my way of "giving back," as I feel that I have been blessed, by the Creator, beyond belief in my life.
I thank God that my business has become such a positive experience in my life. Because the charitable requests that I have received have become overwhelming, I am happy to announce that I have created my own foundation along with two other prominent local artists. Willie Hobbs, Charles Ott, and myself have teamed together in forming "The Humanitarian Artists of Pittsburgh." Our inaugural event, "The Faces and Places of the Black and Gold," will take place on August 8, 2010 at La Roche College in Pittsburgh. Many prominent local figures will attend. Please click on the HeART link to the left for more details. This newly formed coalition will enable me to keep up with my personal pledge of helping those in need with my art, while still being able to forge ahead in my goal to become one of the best memorabilia artists in the business.
This homepage would not be complete without a special thank you to my beautiful wife, Renea, and my special children, Jake, Sarah, and Nicholas. These important people understand my commitment to achieving my dreams. Thanks also to my parents, Frank and Anne, who have sacrificed so much to make me the person that I am. Lastly, thank you to my brothers and sisters and my "number one fan," Aunt Pauline, who have given me guidance and support through the years. I love each and every one of you very much.
